This Legionnaires Temperature Kit features top of the range instruments to ensure accurate readings. The MM2008 Digital Thermometer has a huge measurement range of -200 to 1372°C and an exceptional accuracy of +/-0.1% of reading +/-0.2°C.
The MM2008 Single input Thermometer boasts an integral 1 minute & 2 minute timer. This Thermometer has primarily developed for use in Legionella risk management and offers reassurance that the correct temperature is taken when monitoring hot and cold water temperatures. It features an IP67 waterproof casing and is compatible with both T and K thermocouple probes.
The thermometer is self-calibrating and is supplied complete with a rubber boot for extra protection against damage
Included in the kit is a dual surface/immersion probe, fine wire probe and accessories, designed for the monitoring of pipes, tanks, running and standing water.
Incorrect water temperature is a key risk factor for legionella growth. The legionella bacteria multiply in water temperature between 20-45 ºC. A typical method of control is to store hot water above 60ºC and distribute it at above 50ºC. Cold water should be kept below 20ºC.
The kit may be used to monitor the temperature of both standing water and the surface of pipes and tanks that form part of a water system. The immersion probe should be placed in the water to a minimum depth of 25mm, the temperature can then be logged in the book provided. The surface probe may be used to take the temperature of pipes and tanks, which then may be recorded in the log book provided.

You can easily check the shipping options for your order from the shopping cart. Once you have added the items you require, you can use the Estimate Shipping and Tax option within the cart. Simply enter your country and delivery postcode and this will provide you with the cost of delivery for your order before proceeding to checkout and entering your billing and delivery details.
If you want your parcel to be left unattended on your premises, please ensure the safe place you choose is protected from the elements and hidden from public view to avoid damage and theft. Please note we cannot be held responsible for the theft or damage of parcels that have been left unattended in accordance with your instructions.
UK Shipping
Please note that some orders will require a signature on delivery. If you would prefer the parcel to be delivered to somewhere other than your main address, the checkout allows for a separate billing and delivery addresses to be entered, as well as specifying Any Special Instructions For Delivery.
Standard Shipping
Standard shipping on the majority of UK mainland orders up to £74.99 ex vat is £3.99 ex vat. UK orders of £75.00 ex vat or over will qualify for free delivery.
There are exceptions to the above, such as remote areas and islands will be subject to a shipping surcharge. These include Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Isles of Scilly, Channel Islands and the Highlands of Scotland.
Postcodes where surcharges apply include, AB37, AB38, AB41-AB56, BT1-94, FK19-FK21, HS1-HS9, IV1-IV20, IV25, IV30-IV37, IV44, IV63, KA27, KA28, KW1-KW17, PA20-PA49, PA60-PA78, PH15-PH26, PH30-PH44, PH49, PH50, ZE1-ZE3.
Local deliveries to postcodes LA1 to LA7 will be free of charge.
Goods delivered using this option will be sent using the most economical method, usually Royal Mail Parcel Post or courier. We reserve the right to choose the shipping method which will depend upon a number of factors including the weight and value of the parcel as well as the location of the delivery address.
Express
Express shipping on the majority of UK mainland orders is £5.99 ex vat. This option typically 1-2 working days. For orders received before 12 noon, goods that are in stock will normally be dispatched the same day and usually delivered the next working day.
Courier (Highlands and Islands)
The courier service to remote areas (please see the list above in standard shipping) is £9.99 or £12.99 depending on postcode. Delivery typically takes 2 working days.
Overnight
A next working day service is available for the majority of UK mainland orders at a cost of £6.99. Orders must be received by 2pm on the day of order. (Orders received on a weekend will be shipped on the next working day).
Customised items such as embroidered clothing that state specific lead times in their product description are not eligible for this service.
Where a product is unavailable for any reason or unsuitable for next day delivery, we will contact you as soon as possible on the day of order and a refund will be offered.

General Delivery Terms and Conditions
We will process your order right away. We will normally despatch your order to you in 1 to 2 business days of receipt. Certain items including thermometers that require calibration tests before will take longer to process.
We will make every effort to ensure goods are delivered in accordance with estimated timescales. However, once the goods have been despatched by us, they are outside of our direct control. We therefore cannot be held responsible for delivery delays and accept no liability for any delay or failure to deliver the products within estimated timescales.
We will not have any responsibility or liability for the non-delivery of any products unless either:
a) all of the products charged for are not delivered, or
b) you give us full details of the shortages within 3 working days of the part delivery.
Our total liability to you for the non-delivery of any products is limited to delivering the products to you within 10 days of you telling us about the non-delivery or, at our option, crediting your account with the value of the products not delivered plus the delivery charge. We reserve the right to substitute a product of equal or higher value in the event of supply difficulties.
If the buyer fails to accept delivery of the goods at a time when they are due to be delivered, a re-delivery charge may be applicable and charged to the buyer.
Claims for non-delivery must be given in writing to us within 28 days of order or notification of despatch of the goods.
