The Portwest LW63 Standard Ladies Lab Coat combines a smart, professional appearance with a comfortable women’s fit, making it a practical choice for laboratories, education, healthcare and other professional working environments.
Designed specifically for women, the coat features shaping darts that create a more tailored silhouette than a conventional unisex lab coat. This provides a professional appearance while maintaining the comfort and freedom of movement required for everyday working environments.
The front is secured using concealed stud fastenings, creating a clean, streamlined appearance while allowing the coat to be quickly put on and removed. The concealed design also helps keep the front of the garment neat and professional.
Three practical pockets provide useful storage throughout the working day. These comprise one chest pocket and two lower side pockets, providing space for pens, notebooks and other small work essentials.
The coat is manufactured from Portwest's Kingsmill 190g polycotton fabric, consisting of 65% polyester and 35% cotton. This durable blend combines the strength and easy-care properties of polyester with the comfort of cotton, making it well suited to regular professional use.
For straightforward laundering, the LW63 can be machine washed at temperatures up to 60°C, making it a practical choice for workplaces where coats need to be cleaned frequently.

You can easily check the shipping options for your order from the shopping cart. Once you have added the items you require, you can use the Estimate Shipping and Tax option within the cart. Simply enter your country and delivery postcode and this will provide you with the cost of delivery for your order before proceeding to checkout and entering your billing and delivery details.
If you want your parcel to be left unattended on your premises, please ensure the safe place you choose is protected from the elements and hidden from public view to avoid damage and theft. Please note we cannot be held responsible for the theft or damage of parcels that have been left unattended in accordance with your instructions.
UK Shipping
Please note that some orders will require a signature on delivery. If you would prefer the parcel to be delivered to somewhere other than your main address, the checkout allows for a separate billing and delivery addresses to be entered, as well as specifying Any Special Instructions For Delivery.
Standard Shipping
Standard shipping on the majority of UK mainland orders up to £75 is £4.99 ex vat. UK orders of £75 or over will qualify for free delivery.
There are exceptions to the above, such as remote areas and islands will be subject to a shipping surcharge. These include Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Isles of Scilly, Channel Islands and the Highlands of Scotland.
Postcodes where surcharges apply include, AB37, AB38, AB41-AB56, BT1-94, FK19-FK21, HS1-HS9, IV1-IV20, IV25, IV30-IV37, IV44, IV63, KA27, KA28, KW1-KW17, PA20-PA49, PA60-PA78, PH15-PH26, PH30-PH44, PH49, PH50, ZE1-ZE3.
Goods delivered using this option will be sent using the most economical method, usually Royal Mail Parcel Post or courier. We reserve the right to choose the shipping method which will depend upon a number of factors including the weight and value of the parcel as well as the location of the delivery address.
Express & Overnight
Express & Overnight shipping on the majority of UK mainland orders is £6.99 ex vat. This option typically 1-2 working days. For orders received before 2pm, goods that are in stock will normally be dispatched the same day and usually delivered the next working day.
Orders received on a weekend will be shipped on the next working day.
Customised items such as embroidered clothing that state specific lead times in their product description are not eligible for this service.
Where a product is unavailable for any reason or unsuitable for next day delivery, we will contact you as soon as possible on the day of order and a refund will be offered.
Courier (Highlands and Islands)
The courier service to remote areas (please see the list above in standard shipping) is £9.99 ex vat depending on postcode. Delivery typically takes 2 working days.
Overseas Shipping
For overseas shipping please contact us with your requirements.
Incoterms: All EU and international shipments are supplied under Incoterms® 2020 – Delivered at Place (DAP). This means that while we arrange delivery to the destination country, the buyer is responsible for all import duties, taxes, and customs charges upon arrival.
General Delivery Terms and Conditions
We will process your order right away. We will normally despatch your order to you in 1 to 2 business days of receipt. Certain items including thermometers that require calibration tests before will take longer to process.
We will make every effort to ensure goods are delivered in accordance with estimated timescales. However, once the goods have been despatched by us, they are outside of our direct control. We therefore cannot be held responsible for delivery delays and accept no liability for any delay or failure to deliver the products within estimated timescales.
We will not have any responsibility or liability for the non-delivery of any products unless either:
a) all of the products charged for are not delivered, or
b) you give us full details of the shortages within 3 working days of the part delivery.
Our total liability to you for the non-delivery of any products is limited to delivering the products to you within 10 days of you telling us about the non-delivery or, at our option, crediting your account with the value of the products not delivered plus the delivery charge. We reserve the right to substitute a product of equal or higher value in the event of supply difficulties.
If the buyer fails to accept delivery of the goods at a time when they are due to be delivered, a re-delivery charge may be applicable and charged to the buyer.
Claims for non-delivery must be given in writing to us within 28 days of order or notification of despatch of the goods.

Pay by Purchase Order - UK businesses, schools and universities can apply to order using official purchase orders with agreed credit terms, subject to approval.
NHS & Public Sector - Official purchase orders from NHS organisations and recognised UK public sector bodies are automatically accepted.
Business & Overseas Orders - UK businesses can apply for a trade account with agreed credit terms. Overseas organisations are welcome to order on a proforma payment basis.
