The Pocket Infrared Thermometer has a built-in laser which ensures perfect alignment and shows the exact point on the surface where the temperature is being tested.

To test the surface temperature of an object, simply point the infrared thermometer at the object, press the laser button to test the alignment and then push the meausrement button for an instant reading. Surface temperatures in the range of -30 to +270°C can be measured. The thermometer displays the temperature with a resolution of 0.1°C/°F (switchable).

The distance to target ratio is 6:1. It is therefore recommended that the infrared thermometer should be positioned close to the target.

Each thermometer incorporates a maximum hold and data hold functions.

Infrared thermometers are ideal for when conventional sensors cannot be easily used. For example, for measuring the temperature of moving objects such as machinery, or when the use of a convential thermometer may be hazardous, such as where very high temperatures are being monitored or there is high voltage electricity present. They are also ideal for measuring cold display cabinets, ovens and hobs, pets and their environments, furnaces, radiators. The list is endless!
