Pic1For many years the Highfield Level 2 Food Safety has been the UK's leading food safety training e-learning course. It has now been updated and this highly effective training tool to help maximise understanding of the subject is available on line.

The course features interactive exercises, which provide the most learner friendly, highly comprehensive level 2 Food Safety training programme available.
There are plenty of low-budget courses available, which are basically 'PowerPoints on screen'.

This course is different. Many courses have a very poor uptake and low success rate, however the Highfield course replaces boring text with interactive, fun exercises in order maximise learning.

At the beginning of the selected courses users are given the option to take a refresher course. If they have completed a course of this nature in the last three years the user will be able to take a test covering all subjects in the course. Should the user get sufficient questions correct, they will have the option to receive a tailored refresher course. This allows learners to gain their certificate quickly without repeating training.

Then at the start of each module students have the opportunity to take an short assessment to gauge their knowledge of that subject, this will allow the learner to bypass sections of the module that already have a full understanding of.

Finally at the end of each section a knowledge assessment is taken. The user is required to achieve 100% in order to pass the module and ultimately achieve their certificate, this can be attempted multiple times allowing the student to revise the content of the module if they did not understand the section.
The system uses modules to break down the teaching process into manageable chunks. The modules are tracked and remembered so the student returns to the place where they left the course.

The course is broken into sections which the user can either navigate through on a page by page basis or they can use the module menu to access a specific part of the course. The users progress is tracked and recorded at every step so nothing is lost, even a 10 minute sitting at the course counts towards their overall qualification.
