Comark KM14 Digital, Waterproof Dishwasher Thermometer

The KM14 from Comark offers a full range of features not often found in an instrument at this pricing level. Not only is it waterproof and dishwasher safe it also has a maximum minimum function. This makes it is ideal for checking commercial dishwasher rinse cycle temperatures.

This thermometer can be calibrated simply by the user to ensure that it is always operating to its maximum accuracy. (See below for calibration instructions.)

In addition, the Comark KM14 can display temperature in either Celcius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F ).

An "auto power off" function helps to ensure maximum battery life.

A Data Hold Button enables the user to freeze the display whilst they record the reading.

The casing is made with BioCote® antimicrobial protection to provide an important extra level of defence against cross-contamination.

* Domestic dishwashers have longer wash cycles than commercial dishwasher. The KM14 has an auto-shut off after 30 minutes and therefore will not contuinue to record max/min temperatures after this period.

How to Calibrate the Comark DT400

The KM14 can be calibrated at any time by the user. The procedure is quick and simple:

1. Put some water and crushed ice into a clean mug or water bath (approx 60% crushed ice to 40% water).

2. Insert the thermometer into the ice solution until the stem is covered to at least half way along its length.

3. Wait for the reading to settle.

4. Press and hold the D-H button for 8 seconds to begin calibration.

5. "CAL" will be displayed on the LCD screen and calibration at 0°C will be complete.
