One of the chief virtues of our aluminium chain screens is the non-chemical pest control of most flying insects and birds. They provide a really effective barrier to all but the most minute of flying insects.

Optional rail channel fixing

Screens can be fitted by simply inserting 2 or 3 screws into the door or window frame and hooking the rail over the screws (see left).

A neat and unobtrusive alternatively, which won't leave screws protruding from the frame when the screen is removed, is a rail channel (lower picture). This is permanently screwed into place and cannot be seen with the screen in place.
